A new retail tech concept at Oakbrook Center
B8ta is a unique and innovative retail store designed for discovering, trying, and buying new tech products. Brookfield Properties partnered with the brand to put their out-of-the-box products on display in the glass cube at Oakbrook Center. Customers will be able to test out the latest innovations, from electric skateboards to headphones that intelligently adapt to your hearing.
The launch of B8ta retail stores not only helps customers discover new products, it also empowers makers to get in the game by offering them a cost-effective solution to having a presence in physical stores.
Popular Canadian brand calls Chicago home
Canadian apparel brand, Roots, has opened its first Chicago location at our property, 605 N. Michigan Ave. The experiential space is the brand's largest and most innovative retail location to date - with a customization shop for leather goods, a Roots Rec Hall which acts as an incubator for local businesses, and in-store art, all of which is enhanced by the brand story beautifully woven throughout the store.
Green Growth Brands
Celebrating health, wellness, and happiness
Brookfield Properties has partnered with Green Growth Brands, a lifestyle oriented, consumer products company, to bring their Seventh Sense Kiosk to around a dozen locations within our portfolio. The kiosk offers a high-quality line of specially designed body and skin care products, made with essential oils and CBD. The first location has opened in Glenbrook Square in Fort Wayne, IN.
This partnership is a testament to our penchant for partnering with emerging trends and bringing new, transformative concepts to our shopping centers.

New premier American steakhouse now open
Boasting two stories tall, the all new classic steakhouse at Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas features a warm inviting atmosphere, complete with a tavern-like open concept bar and lounge. The space features an impressive wine wall; an art deco inspired 18 seat bar outfitted with mirror hidden televisions; a luxurious lounge complete with leather tufted booths and Lincoln chairs; and an intimate all glass private room overlooking the bar and promenade. Guests can enjoy over-the-top steak experiences featuring renowned USDA Prime dry-aged steaks, premium seafood, and an award-winning wine list.
