Community Involvement

Brookfield Properties creates a warm and welcoming environment in which team members feel empowered to volunteer, fundraise and create awareness for various charitable causes. Our commitment to the communities we serve is an integral part of our mission statement. As a team we organize events and activities that provide an enriching experience for people of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy. By developing strong charitable partnerships and programs, we contribute to the growth and well-being of the neighborhoods and people that surround our retail centers.

In one year, we hosted more than 370 charitable events and our employees donated more than 1,900 hours of their time volunteering with charities of their choice. With help from our community, we were able to partner with more than 310 charities and donate a total of $885,000.
